In 2014 I had my ear open to any opportunity that could allow me off the path I had gone down with my corporate job. I talk a lot about how, when I found LimeLife, our CEO Michele asked me to write down my dream job.
THE REASON I SHOUT FROM THE ROOFTOPS to my fellow creatives and artists to take a chance on something different and new is because if I felt these things then maybe you may relate. Ready?
Kat’s Dream Job List in 2014
1) Be able to stand behind a line I truly believed in and who appreciated me for what I bring to the table.
2) Be able to be paid on the knowledge that I had from the makeup industry to help others (customers and teammates) feel more confident.
3) Be able to work a business that fit into my passions of makeup, working with my husband on photoshoots, in doing hair, and more.
4) Be able to help inspire others to try their hand at anything they wanted to do- and offering them a community of support in a world where too many are quick to tear down one’s dreams.
I was able to accomplish all of this through LimeLife.
Here is the thing…
I don’t shout from the rooftops that artists should look into this for ME. I shout it for you. When my actions can be someone’s permission to do what they have always been afraid to do (due to the judgment of others) then I get louder. I get prouder. I remind people what they can do when they start thinking for themselves and guess what?
We have a pretty dope team of pro artists who have your back every step of the way. Not every artist will want to do this but you can be assured the ones that do tend to have servant’s hearts and recognize it is not always what the opportunity can do for them but what THEY can do for the opportunity.
In January you will have the opportunity to take that leap for $21 (so it is more of a skip than a leap). Try it out, see if it is what you thought. If you have always had bad taste for direct sales you may be pleasantly surprised. We started as pros and we continue to keep things that way.
